latest events

So, as some of you know, my husband and I were in a very bad wreck on June 22 after being married for only a few weeks. Will broke his right foot and is now able to put weight on his leg, and he is even walking around! I am so proud of how strong he has been through this whole ordeal:) I was in the hospital MCCG in Macon from June 22- July 2. I had 4 surgeries in the hospital, and I spent a few days (luckily only a few) in ICU. I broke my left wrist, right femur, my back (L4), and I had a stint put in my aorta. Whew! The weeks in the hospital were hard especially because of the food :) I know God has been watching over us, and this has brought me so much closer to him.

Currently, I am in Snellville, GA at a rehab facility doing physical/occupational therapy and making friends with all of the older patients, considering I am the youngest one! Everyday is easier/harder, but I am so blessed with a supportive family and great friends! I can never repay them for all of the kindess they have shown me during this time! I am so blessed to be here, and I am healthy considering all of the other stuff ha! I know that God has a plan for this and for me, and I know this will be just like a blip on the radar in a few months.

Will and I are making a full recovery and everything is healing right on schedule. I am able to walk some with a walker, and I am finally able to use both of my hands! Sitting up is extremely painful, so I would rather lie down or stand up. I will try to post on here occasionally to keep people updated. I am still getting used to typing, so you never know what you might get:) Love you all, and I am so thankful for all of the great people in my life!
