New things/places I like:)

1. I love to buy random new CHEAP beauty products. It gives me a little pep in my step to try something new. . .this can be a bad thing considering that Will works at CVS (easy access to beauty items). Things I love to buy: $1.99 nail polish duh; different kinds of "tween-esque" face scrubs/masks; the occasional red lipstick that never gets worn and sits in my drawer; and of course hair supplies (bobbi pins, etc.). One thing that I bought this week and love is Neutrogena's pink grapefruit foaming scrub. You have to really like grapefruit to enjoy this face wash. Trust me, I do! It smells delicious! Seriously just like a grapefruit! I'm always tempted to stick my tongue out and get a taste ha! That's how good it smells. It's a really good face scrub because it's not too coarse but it's not "whimpy" either. I don't like the scrubs that have the beads that disappear when the soap lathers. How does that exfoliate? It also makes your skin feel really clean. It's a good wash to use to take off make-up. Anyways, try this if you like grapefruit. . .you'll love it!

2. There are definitely things about Atlanta that I miss, now that we've moved to Macon; however, I'm not going to lie, and say that I don't like it here. I do! One thing that I do miss from Atlanta are the cute boutiques with reasonable prices (Festivity, Swoozie, etc.). But, Macon has it's fair share of boutiques that are pretty good. One I found that I really like is Fabrik. The clothes there are really cute, unique, and somewhat reasonable for a boutique. They have really cute accessories and shoes. Also, they have lots of boots that were pretty inexpensive ($30-$50). The fall jacket selection was excellent! Lots of leather or faux leather jackets, pea coats, etc. I really enjoyed shopping here, and of course grabbed some boots for myself! Check out their website!

3. Now this might make me sound really old and lame, but the next place on the list is the Casserole Shop! A lady in my Sunday School class brought in a breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls that were AMAZING! So, duh, I asked where she got them. . .The Casserole Shop. It's on Forsyth Road. This cute little place sells pre-made meals and baked goods. Anything from lasagna, broccoli casserole, deviled eggs, to brownies and coffee cake. I bought the baked spaghetti and dinner rolls for Will and me. It was delicious! I just popped the spaghetti in the oven for 40 minutes and dinner was ready. So easy (which is important). I also bought thumbprint cookies. They weren't as good as Riley's, in my home town, but they were pretty tasty! I highly recommend this place when you are crunched for time, or just feeling like not cooking (which is me most nights)! Here is a link to their menu.

much love!
